About SteamPro
STEAMPRO is local, family-owned, and operated and has been established since 2008. STEAMPRO’s owner, Tony Smith, first got his experience in the industry as a teen when he worked for a carpet cleaner in the small Eastern North Carolina town where he grew up. Tony’s father later started his own carpet cleaning business, furthering Tony’s experience and industry knowledge. This experience gave him the necessary tools to start STEAMPRO in Rolesville, NC in February of 2008.
Tony’s wife, Julie (a Raleigh native), joined STEAMPRO in 2013 when the growing business became too much for Tony to handle alone. They enjoy working together and work well as a team. Tony and Julie both have four-year Bachelor of Art and Science degrees. Tony’s background as a youth director and property manager makes it easy for him to connect with each customer on a personal level. He enjoys helping clients understand the process involved in each service and further educating them on how to extend the life of those services when he leaves. He continues to educate himself on the most current and effective methods of cleaning your home or office.
Julie’s attention to detail comes from her background as a school teacher, admin assistant, and manager and further helps her educate clients on what they can expect from each service. She says she tries to alleviate the anxiety that can come from hiring a contractor. Inviting someone into your home can be unsettling when you don’t know what to expect. Our goal is for every customer to have an exceptional experience with STEAMPRO from their first conversation with us to the time the job is completed.
